solo and bands

Solo
I have played with bands most of my life, and I still enjoy having others to lean on, get inspired from and change musical ideas with. But in the last couple of years I have also felt the urge to play all by myself. I play solo a lot, when doing so, I can draw heavily on my experiences with bands, playing New Orleans tunes or traditional norwegian dance tunes. Or just improvise, beeing inspired of the place, the people, the occation. Many times, playing solo is like a spiritual journey, just playing on the moment, following every intuitions, no matter how far out they seem. I play at concerts, conventions, in churches, for small and large audiences.
